I have been training with Alex a while now and he encourages me to work harder than I would on my own, he motivates me and inspires me to get the results I want. I feel like I have loads more energy and I’m much more fitter now.

I’ve known Alex for nine months, and he has been my personal trainer for some six months. He appreciated my goal of optimum fitness for my age (70years) for a quite strenuous walking holiday and worked with me patiently towards this. He was consistently polite, knowledgeable and made my visits to the gymnasium a pleasure. I wish him all the best in the future

I did the 21 day programme to kick start my exercise regime for 2010. Alex maintains a knowledgeable and enthusiastic approach. He varies the exercise programmes which definately helped to keep me motivated at each session. The metabolic raising exercises are effective and fun. The written literature which Alex provides demonstrates his level of knowledge. Putting this theory into practice has enabled me to understand what my body needs and I have made the appropriate lifestyle changes to enable this to happen.
I was so pleased to have lost over 2% body fat, lose 6lb in weight and achieve reductions in my body measurements, all in 21 days. I feel I can guarantee that this programme will be a success to all who do it and would like to thank Alex for his determination and hard work and wish him the success he deserves.

I knew that I needed to get healthy to improve my quality of life, but I wasn’t sure how. So I did what most people do. I thought about joining a gym. In the end I decided to find a personal trainer. This was no piece of cake however. I made phone call after phone call to different gyms, targeted trainers who looked interesting. And was rejected by one trainer after another. I was just too risky a client with my visual impairment and lung condition. At this point, I dug deep, relying on the mental strength that I’d generated when I was at hospital. I didn’t give up in my search, and was finally referred to a trainer who would meet with me.
My first trainer didn’t have experience working with someone with my condition, but was willing to learn and fully supported me in my fitness journey. I wasn’t the most enthusiastic client when we got started, whinging and complaining about how hard everything was and using diversion tactics to get out of doing the exercises. He was patient and encouraging, keeping me focussed on my fitness goals and not letting me wriggle my way out of things. But it was up to me to put in the graft.
So I began to change my mindset about exercise to keep motivated, and before I knew it, my body began to experience changes and my confidence began to grow. I set the small goal of wanting to lose a certain amount of weight for a family wedding. Not only did I smash my goal, but the pendulum of my mindset completely shifted. I was hooked.

At the start of the year I decided to give up smoking, and try to get in shape for my holiday. I hadn’t done any exercise for a good few years, so I joined a gym. I didn’t know what I was doing and couldn’t understand after a month I hadn’t lost any weight and felt no better. I decided to get some help! Alex was brilliant, he listened to what I wanted to achieve, and put together a circuit I could do on my own. I also had weekly sessions with Alex, he kept me motivated and pushed me to work harder than I ever thought possible. Before I knew it I was starting to see results, and for the first time I actually enjoyed exercising.
Without Alex’s help I would have given up on the gym by now and gone back to my old ways, instead I’ve lost weight, feel much more healthier and I was even able to wear a bikini on the beach!

I started training with Alex to improve my general health and fitness and also improve my core stability so that I can surf better. Core is definitely stronger now all I need is a surf holiday when there is actually some waves.
Training with Alex has been fun, positive and encouraging. I never get bored as he keeps it interesting & challenging. We do a wide variety of training with different styles and formats but it all ties in to what I want to achieve.
He is a good instructor & a good person. I look forward to my continued training & support he provides.

After taking an intensive 3 month course with Alex I have lost nearly 3 stone and made vast improvements on my fitness, Alex is a great trainer with a vast amount of knowledge with a great understanding of what goals you would like to achieve; although these sessions are tough Alex makes them fun at the same time.
I have taken many sessions with Alex who keeps the exercises varied but demanding and keeps the routines interesting; I would advise anybody looking for a personal trainer look no further than Alex, quite simply a professional who knows what he is doing and has a passion to make you achieve your goals in the set period.
I have tried many methods of getting fit and I can say a 100% this has worked for me!
